I have always enjoyed listening to others and learning more about them. For as long as I can remember I have had the knowledge to listen to understand and not listen to respond. It is the same thing I try to teach my 4 children. Listening has always been a skill of mine.
I am blessed to hear the life stories of others each and every day and we then become a new chapter in that with our clients. It is amazing to hear how someone started their business or how they achieved so much personal and professional success in their lives. We enjoy helping others realize and achieve their goals and I believe it all goes back to listening to understand each other. I will always be accountable and anything we recommend is the same thing I would for myself and my family in a similar situation.

Outside of his professional life, Timothy enjoys spending time with friends, playing golf, and following his favorite teams, the New York Mets and Knicks.

Begoña joined our practice in October 2017 as our head of operations. She brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial industries to the practice, having agency as well as home office backgrounds. Begoña is a valued employee and currently leads our firm's operations management. She assists with client service projects and processing client proposals and presentations. She also helps plan client events and manages the day to day operations of the firm. She is a key player in continuing to expand Mostransky & Associate’s high level of client service.
In her spare time, Begoña volunteers with a few animal rescue groups on Long Island. She enjoys music, going to concerts and travelling and socializing with friends. She considers herself to be Bon Jovi’s number one fan having been to every single concert tour over the years. She lives on Long Island with her husband, 2 sons and their pup.

Melissa joined the team in October 2023 as a client services assistant and an assistant to Begoña in supporting the day-to-day operations of our firm. Her strong attention to detail, interpersonal , communication and administrative skills make her an asset to our team. Melissa has over 10 years of experience as an administrative and client services professional in the financial services industry.
When she is not at work, Melissa can be found volunteering at her kids’ school. Melissa enjoys travelling, reading and cooking. She lives on Long Island with her husband and three children.
